BP3

My position in groups before have been pretty quiet and nonchalant. I've kept to myself unless no one else is speaking, but I've already put an effort into being vocal in this group and it really seems promising. My strengths were called to question, like they are every time I'm contemplated, I think I'm generally solid at getting people started and remembering the details that are generally overlooked. But how do I know? My position in the group will probably be catching the details and minding the parameters just like an Initiator/Contributor and similar to a Secretary. I'm hesitant to say that I'm definitely any of the group member roles because I know I slip-up sometimes with just being myself so being a whole group role is an obvious potential for irregularity. I have a problem with thinking I'm consistently correct, that I'm the Master Maid and just know everything. This is probably less desirable information, however, being honest with your group is essential.

In the past, my being quiet has led to my being ignored on more than one occasion. Sure it's unfortunate but I probably could have made more of an effort to speak up, be more of the Evaluator/Critic that I know that I can be. When a group ever went with my decisions, they generally worked out pretty well for the group. The Princess Mouse flavoring I seem to have possessed was less than ideal. I have recently become far more capable in terms of expressing my opinions and ideas, this has opened me up to maintain more prominent roles in a group. I feel as if this group that is just now beginning will be enjoyable, however involved and painstaking it is. The primary goal for this group is to be a functional, all-encompassing, unit. We shouldn't have to worry about getting off task, or missing a detail because we went through the sheet and we dished out the roles after deciphering which or them pertained to any of us. We're lucky enough to have a group in which every role is filled and every one gets along. I'm optimistic.
